Hong Kong ‘Goodman x Halo’ Launch Ceremony for the Hong Kong’s Largest Commercial EV Fast-Charging Network
2025-10-30

To drive the electrification of Hong Kong’s logistics and transportation industry, Halo Energy has partnered with Goodman, one of Hong Kong’s largest logistics facility providers, to build Hong Kong’s largest commercial EV fast-charging network across Goodman’s logistics centres. This groundbreaking infrastructure project was officially launched on 30 October 2025, injecting strong momentum into the development of commercial electric vehicles and laying a solid foundation for a smart, green city. We are at a historic turning point where the electrification of logistics and transportation is inevitable. This is not only a proactive response to the global call for carbon reduction but also a commitment to creating bluer skies, cleaner air, and a sustainable future for the next generation. However, the road to widespread adoption of commercial EVs has not been easy. Challenges such as “no place to charge,” “charging too slow,” and “vehicles too large” have long plagued the industry. Despite government efforts to promote EV policies, the number of electric taxis and trucks in Hong Kong has yet to surpass 1,000—far behind the adoption rate of private cars. For heavy trucks, charging facilities are almost nonexistent. Today, the launch of Hong Kong’s largest commercial EV fast-charging network—powered by the collaboration between Goodman and Halo—marks a new beginning and a bold declaration of change. By breaking through long-standing charging bottlenecks, we are delivering an all-in-one, efficient, and user-friendly solution tailored for the industry. This network will remove barriers and accelerate the transition toward a greener future for Hong Kong’s logistics sector.
